Redefining Anti-Aging

What is regenerative aesthetics?

Regenerative aesthetics refers to innovative treatments that harness your body's natural healing abilities to rejuvenate your appearance. At PSG, we specialize in two primary regenerative treatments: Nano Fat Transfer and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy. These treatments use your own tissues to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and restore volume, resulting in a more youthful, refreshed look.

Aging of the face, neck, and hands is not just skin deep. Volume loss or descent of cheek fat uncovers a furrow between the lower eyelid and the cheek (referred to as the naso-jugal groove or tear trough). In the upper eyelid and eyebrow area, a hollow appearance is a sign of aging. A person’s own fat can be harvested from areas of excess, such as the abdomen or love handles, and used as grafts to replace the fat lost from the eyebrows, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and hands. This technique is referred to as Microfat grafting or fat transfer.

Aging can result in skin wrinkles around the mouth and upper chest that can be injected with fat, much as the way Juvederm and Restylane are used as fillers. The advantage of SNIF (Sharp Needle Intradermal Fat) is that in many people, the results are permanent.

Natural Rejuvenation

What is the regenerative aesthetics procedure like?

Nano Fat Transfer

This procedure begins with a mini-liposuction to harvest fat from areas like the abdomen or thighs. The fat is then processed to isolate the smallest fat particles and stem cells. These nanofat particles are carefully injected into targeted areas of the face to restore volume and improve skin quality. The procedure typically takes 60-90 minutes.

Sun exposure and the passage of time can result in dark circles under the eyes and the loss of the youthful texture of the skin of the face, neck, upper chest (décolletage), and back of the hands. Research done by Drs. Patrick Tonnard and Alexis Verpaele of Ghent, Belgium* has shown that stem cells and growth factors in fat can be used to rejuvenate the skin.

Fat contains the highest concentration of stem cells of any tissue in the body. The technique disrupts the fat cells, leaving the stem cells intact. This minimally manipulated fat is called Nanofat. It is injected into the skin using a microneedling device. The Nanofat grafting can be done as a stand-alone procedure under local anesthesia in the office or combined with other operations, such as blepharoplasty and facelift. The changes in the quality of the skin take about six months to appear and are long-lasting.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)

PRP treatment starts by drawing a small amount of your blood. This blood is then processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. The PRP is injected into specific areas of your face or combined with other treatments like microneedling for enhanced results. The entire process usually takes 30-60 minutes.

What are the benefits of regenerative aesthetics?

Regenerative aesthetic treatments offer numerous benefits. Because we are using your own tissues, there is minimal risk of allergic reactions and the results look natural. Once your body accepts the new tissues, the effects are long-lasting. Your body will continue to show improvement in overall skin quality and texture for months after your treatment. These versatile treatments are also a great way to address multiple concerns simultaneously.

Our experienced team uses advanced techniques to ensure optimal results that enhance your natural beauty.

Subtle, Natural Results

Regenerative Aesthetics Recovery

One of the advantages of regenerative aesthetic treatments is the minimal recovery time. Most patients can return to their normal activities within 1-3 days. You may experience some mild swelling, bruising, or redness in the treated areas, but these effects typically subside quickly. We'll provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results and comfort.

Changing Skincare

Regenerative Aesthetics Results

You may notice some immediate improvements after your treatment, but the full results of regenerative aesthetics develop over time as your body produces new collagen. Most patients see significant improvements within 4-6 weeks, with results continuing to improve for several months.

The longevity of results varies depending on the specific treatment and individual factors. Nano fat transfer can provide long-lasting results, often for several years. PRP treatments typically last 12-18 months, with maintenance treatments recommended to prolong the effects.
